From August 1965 until August 1966 I was a Fulbright Scholar in Australia, attached to the University of Sydney. I travelled out by plane via California, Fiji, New Zealand and travelled back by ship via Singapore, Ceylon, Aden, Egypt and Naples. Then by various means through Europe; then a month or so in the UK.
