Note: Many of these links are password protected.

The physical archives of the Harvard Travellers Club are presently in the apartment of member and past Secretary-Treasurer and President, Robert B. Stephenson. The address is Apartment 243, 150 Rivermead Road, Peterborough, NH 03458.
     Archival material is included in 10 "Bankers Boxes." Much of the material has been scanned and appears on https://www.rs41.org/HTC/htc.htm which is maintained by Rob. Much scanning remains to be done and should be completed by sometime in the spring of 2024. At that time these boxes will be turned over to the Harvard University Archives (which sometime earlier received some HTC material). In the event that Harvard University Archives declines to take the material, the back-up repository is the Massachusetts Historical Society. Both institutions have been communicated with in the past which is detailed below.
     Most but not all of the material is dated during the first 100 years of the Club: 1902-2002.

An historical note: When I became Secretary-Treasurer in the 1970s my predecessor was John Field. He was smart enough not to move to his house the Club archives, such as they were, from his predecessor, long-time Secretary-Treasurer Harrison 'Hap' Kennard. I was less smart. Hap called me one day and invited me over to his house to have a chat and to "pick up a few things." In the end I made two roundtrips to his house with my car filled with files and a 4-drawer filing case strapped to the roof. This "archive" resided for many years in my mother's cellar in Newton. As time went on, I added to it. Eventually once I was living in Jaffrey, NH, I moved the archive to my house there. And when I moved into RiverMead in Peterborough in 2020, and the archives moved with me. And here they remain.
